Vision Qwest Solutions facilitates the process of understanding the evolution of HR practices, past and present, and understanding the lessons learned. With this knowledge, we can move forth with a framework for future initiatives to make this "moving target" a part of what may ultimately be the missing links of understanding employee engagement in the work place. And with my blog, HR Zen, our voices will blend.
I bring over thirty years of Human Resources experiences in various industries to include manufacturing, service and hospitality industries, healthcare, government contracting, associations, non-profits, and consulting firms.
With each experience, I have garnered a unique perspective that I wish to share holistically with visitors to this site and blog as we discuss what current employee engagement trends are, similarities and unique, what is unique, and what differentiates these respective areas of business in the areas of human dynamics and employee engagement in the workplace.
As an HR professional, we know there are organizational and legal boundaries that we have to operate within. As an HR practitioner that has "lived through" varying evolutionary states of HR practices, I approach consulting with this critical aspect in mind - trends come and go. For an organization to be successful, you have "think outside of the box"; yes we have heard this one before; in terms of a "paradigm shift".
